Somewhere between yellow and blue are all the shades of green on the color spectrum.  It is easy to get overwhelmed by all the green in the world, at times it can be like trying to drink from the proverbial green fire hose.  It is my belief that any little thing that we all can do to green our world is a positive step in the right direction.  I would like to believe my past physics professor that saidcasa-batllo-roof7 if we all took a step at the same time in the same direction we could stop the world’s rotation.  While I don’t think we want to go to that drastic a result it would be nice to all step in the right direction towards a greener tomorrow.

I am an LEED AP intern architect going through everyday life with a renewed sense of purpose for sustainability.  I never considered myself crunchie or hippie but more of a technology geek.  The science and technology behind sustainable efforts make sense to my brain.  Efficiency in design is my goal.

By making everyday changes in your life, I hope you will join me on this new journey.  ~Kim

    Kim,

I think you are doing great things with this site! Keep up the good work. Because of your interest in sustainability and LEED certification, I thought you might be interested in reading about Servidyne’s implementation of iTendant. The system helps solve energy and maintenance issues, leading toward LEED certification. I invite you to read more about it here, http://pitch.pe/2382.

Thank you – Have a great weekend and happy holidays!
